Stephanie B. Evans is a Dallas native and owner of Wedding Event Design. Although she does not own any cowboy boots, she is a Texan at heart that believes in good ole southern hospitality. A professional and energetic person who keeps a cool head and is very knowledgeable about the wedding industry are what keep her grounded in this industry. Stephanie has spent 15+ years managing events, including but not limited to large corporate meetings, weddings, concerts, global events, and professional sporting events.
As a graduate of Northwood University (BBA), Ashford University (MBA) and the holder of other industry certifications, Stephanie’s education and diversified experience has all greatly contributed to the successful business model of Wedding Event Design. Most importantly, Stephanie has recognized persistence, attention to details and creativity all play a key role in her success and the success of any event.

What do you enjoy most about this business? Everyday is an adventure! Each wedding and client is unique and different. I love that we have an opportunity to showcase their love and uniqueness on one of the most important days of their lives.
What is your best wedding experience you’ve had to date and why? One of my most memorable experiences was when one of my brides sang to her husband at the reception. I think I cried just as much as the groom.
If you never made another dime doing this would you? Absolutely! This is my passion and that is what will keep you going even when the money and fame is not there.
What dream wedding would you like to do? One day my own
What 5 mistakes do you see brides make? 1. Not hiring a wedding planner. 2. Obsessing over the little things 3. Being afraid to step away from tradition and having a wedding that does not reflect who they are as a couple. 4. Not taking the time to enjoy the planning process. 5. Did I mention not hiring a wedding planner
What are 3 pieces of advice you would like to give brides? Slow down and enjoy the moment, your wedding day is “your day” and I can not stress enough hire a planner! Believe me, it is a challenge to walk down the aisle and try and direct people where to be at the same time.
What 1 industry secret you would like to share with brides? Always negotiate. It does not cost a thing to ask.
