I’ve been traveling to the continent of Africa since 2018. The first country I visited was Ghana and as soon as my feet touched ground, my life was forever changed. In the U.S, everything was falling apart. My business was growing faster than I could keep up and it started to feel like a job. I lost a major financier and I filed for divorce from a long-term trauma bond marriage. In the midst of all my stress, I met my wonderful husband and my love story instantly changed. I left my troubles behind and traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to the continent of Africa where I fell in love with my purpose again. I instantly fell in love with Ghana because it renewed my soul and I know you will too.

Enjoy an ecotourism excursion in the Volta Region. We will travel to a charming village where you’ll interact with the Mona monkey’s who have peacefully coexisted in the village with the locals for over 200 years. Enjoy an early dinner and cocktails on beautiful lake Volta where you can take a boat ride to see the breathtaking estuary. Later, attend a private investor mixer at one of Accra’s prominent restaurants.
Spend Christmas Day shopping the hide-away villages that have the most talented artists who make the most beautiful treasures. You’ll find stunning art (i.e. decor, wearable, etc.). Enjoy an elegant, private entrepreneur dinner before an evening of beautiful views, warm sea breezes and dancing beachside.
Travel to the Central Coastal Region for a “return home” to UNESCO’s World Heritage fifteenth century slave castle and slave market. In the evening we kickoff the music festivals with Ghana’s hottest local artist concert series.
Learn about Ghana’s rich culture and traditions as we visit prominent museum sites. Festival Day 1 starts with Detty Rave, the official Detty December kickoff party.
Enjoy a day of festivities designed to highlight and elevate new talent from all over the African continent. No, you don’t have to attend every event but we hope you will. A non-stop flight depending on location can be 10 hrs and a flight with layover(s) could be as long as 15 hours.
