The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful and unique Dallas Museum of Biblical Arts in Dallas, TX on October 26, 2013 and no expense was spared and no detail left undone for this gorgeous couple’s wedding day. They had so many personal touches that made their wedding unique to their personalities and style.
A designed flower petal aisle and candles in hurricane vases on pedestals lined the couples aisle and tall centerpieces of hydrangea, stock, blush and cream roses served as a perfect photo backdrop for the alter. The couple elected to have “first look” photos so that they could have a few moments of private time before the wedding festivities commenced which allowed them to have more time to spend with family and guests during the reception.
Truly placing their signature on their wedding day. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her mother and the couple elected to have signature his and hers cocktails during the cocktail hour.
The Customs, Highlights and Trends
Both hailing from Louisiana, this couple started their reception off with a grand entrance of their bridal party and family to the infamous second line while guests participated by twirling their custom napkins. During the reception the bride was serenaded by her sorority sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha who were in attendance and they ended with their sororities “strut”.
Megan and Percy hosted a beautiful wedding and incorporated so many unique touches that put their signature on their wedding in a memorable way.
